Keith Thompson
Partner
Keith is currently serving as the President of Advance Management Group. As a licensed physical therapist, Keith has worked in a number of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, privately owned outpatient clinics and physician owned clinics. Clinical care included primarily outpatient orthopedics and sports. As a private practice owner for the last ten years, Keith has been heavily involved in managing both Human Resources and serving as the Corporate Compliance Officer. As Corporate Compliance Officer, Keith handles training, auditing and reporting of areas such as standards of conduct, medical necessity, marketing related regulations, retention of records and billing. His duties in Human Resources include Recruiting and Selection, Performance Management, Training and Development, Employment Administration, Benefits Management and Employer Liability Management.
Keith is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and serves on the Board of Southern Physical Therapy Network of Georgia and Battlefield Ministries. Keith and his wife Marsha live in Georgia with their two sons, Caleb and Eli and daugher, Sydney.
Steve Chenoweth

Steve is one of the co-founders of Advance Management and currently serves as the corporate Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operational Officer for Advance Management and its subsidiaries. Steve graduated from Georgia State University in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Steve’s professional background includes experience in both out-patient private practice and hospital based rehab settings. Administratively, Steve has been instrumental in the development of several hospital based rehab programs, private practice out-patient clinics, and has been involved with trouble shooting and consulting for “at risk practices”. With post-graduate continuing education in the clinical areas of Sports /Orthopedic Medicine, Manual Therapy, Industrial Medicine, and the administrative areas of Corporate Compliance / Practice Management, Steve blends his passion for clinical excellence with his administrative experience to monitor the health and growth of Advance Management’s clients and management contracts. Additionally, Steve is instrumental in the on-going modification of the clinic’s operational models to ensure the clinical and fiscal well being of all of the Advance Management client's sites. Steve is a long standing active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Private Practice and Orthopedic Specialty Sections.
Chad Whitefield
Partner
Chad is one of the founders of Advance Management Group and is responsible for the development of contracts new facilities. He graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham in July of 1994. Upon graduation he took a position with a large private physical therapy practice as coordinator of Industrial Medicine. He later served as Clinical Director of multiple private, hospital based and physician owned rehabilitation clinics. In 1996 he founded Advance with Steve Chenoweth and Keith Thompson. Since their inception Chad has been responsible for the development of contracts and new facilities. He oversees the development of new practices from the research phase through the first day of clinic operations. Chad is a licensed physical therapist assistant and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Private Practice Section of the APTA.
Sam Echols

Sam joined Advance Management in 1997, and is presently responsible for clinical excellence initiative with our clients practices as well as maximizing the quality of our client's outcomes as well as coordination of marketing efforts for Advance Management. He graduated from Medical College of Georgia in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Sam’s professional background is primarily in outpatient hospital and private practice settings where he has been a clinical director since 1996 responsible for clinical operations and marketing as well as establishing new clinics. Post-graduate education includes primarily Sports/Orthopedic Medicine and Manual Therapy. Sam’s drive for clinical excellence has been utilized to maximize the quality of Advance Management’s outcomes and relationships with our referral sources and communities. Sam is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Orthopedic Specialty Section. Sam is certified as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association.
